Referendum Party Welcomes South Africa’s Official Recognition as a Racist State

(Afrikaans volg)

“This is race-based persecution!” These were the exact words which Whitehouse Deputy Chief-of-staff, Stephen Miller chose to describe the actions and policies of the South African Government. Their significance was enormous, the most powerful nation on earth and leader of the free world has now once again officially classified South Africa as a racist state.

The Referendum Party (RP) is delighted and believes this has the potential to be a very positive watershed moment. For far too long the world has known the racist path successive ANC-led governments have embarked upon since 1994, yet have chosen to remain shamefully silent. Now that the United States has chosen to call a spade a spade, the RP expects many other foreign political leaders and governments to find the courage to follow suit.

RP leader, Phil Craig, is currently in Washington raising awareness of the issues faced by South Africans, and promoting Cape Independence as part of the solution. He has established that the ANC is an organisation which is now deeply reviled by many, that there are no illusions whatsoever about its complete lack of moral fibre, and that its blatant hypocrisy now defines it - domestically and internationally.

As if determined to underscore this point, the ANC chair of the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development has been stonewalling the RP for months, blocking the submission of their Non-Racialism Bill to parliament. The office of the speaker is currently intervening to force the ANC chair to respond.

The harsh reality is that the ANC is just as racist as the Apartheid government was, and they are just as committed to race-based social engineering. It turns out racism was never their issue, they just wanted to be the perpetrators rather than the victims.

The RP is committed to genuine non-racialism, where all South Africans are free to fulfil their potential, whatever their race may be.

Referendum Party verwelkom Suid-Afrika se amptelike erkenning as 'n rassistiese staat
