RP invites the media to travel with it to the future and to examine two very different post election outcomes

The Western Cape faces two possible futures. In one, the Western Cape returns the DA with an outright majority, it refuses to call a referendum on Cape Independence, and then presides over the province’s collapse facilitated by an ANC-led national coalition government.  

In the other, the DA loses its outright majority and is forced into a secessionist coalition. It calls a referendum on Cape Independence and the Western Cape votes to leave South Africa. As a result of good government, the Cape of Good Hope thrives and becomes Africa’s first first-world country. 

The cast have all been invited, with John Steenhuisen, Alan Winde, Helen Zille, Geordin Hill-Lewis, Cyril Ramaphosa, Paul Mashatile, Julius Malema, and Bheki Cele all playing themselves.
